IKON Model 10099 is a double-high, VMEbus pin-compatible emulation of theDEC DR11-W parallel DMA interface.The device uses DEC-style unified bus transceivers for all externalsignals. Byte swapping is provided with separate switches for DMA andProgrammed I/O. DMA logic on the 10099 is all bipolar with a 20MHz clock.The 10099 provides full 32-bit addressing capability and a 32-bit datapath on the VMSbus. Both input and output are 2 KB standard, with highercapacities available. Transfer rate is over 8 MB per second in input modeand over 9 MB per second in output mode.
